Easy Meals You Can Make With Your Blender — In Minutes!

 

As someone who is always on the go, I’m constantly looking for quick and easy meals that I can make in a pinch. As you must know by now, one appliance that I’ve come to rely on heavily is my blender. With a few simple ingredients and a blender, you can create some delicious, nutritious, and filling meals in minutes. Here are some of my favorite easy meals to make with my blender:

1. Spinach and Cheese Omelette

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Crack two eggs into the blender.
  2. Add the fresh spinach leaves, shredded cheese, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into a heated non-stick frying pan.

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Add the diced tomatoes, vegetable broth, heavy cream, fresh basil leaves, salt, and pepper to the blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and heat over medium heat until the soup is warmed through.
  4. Serve hot, garnished with additional fresh basil leaves.

4. Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions:

  1. Add the sliced banana, peanut butter, almond milk, ice, and honey to the blender.

5. Salsa

Ingredients:

  • 3 large tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Add the quartered tomatoes, chopped red onion, chopped jalapeño pepper, fresh cilantro leaves, lime juice, and salt to the blender.
  2. Blend until the salsa reaches the desired consistency.
  3. Pour the salsa into a bowl, and serve with tortilla chips.
