I’m a firm believer in the saying, “You are what you eat.” The foods and beverages that you consume are proven to affect you directly physically and mentally. But what if you’re not the biggest fan of eating them (especially veggies) as they are? The solution — juice them! Seriously!

Okay, let’s talk features
The Omega J8006 Nutrition Center is a high-end juicer, and the best part is that it’s not just for juicing. This machine came prepared to WORK! This is probably one of my favorite features about this particular juicer. And can we talk about how easy it is to use? LOVE IT!

- It operates at 80 RPMs slower than most juicers but helps decrease the heat output. Why is that a good thing? High heat output can cause the juices to oxidize and reduce the vitamins, minerals, and enzymes.

- It has a built-in reverse feature to help you dislodge clogs
- It’s versatile! Not only can you make juices, but you can also make nut butters, nut and oat milks, baby food, mince and chop, shape dough for pasta-it really lives by its name as a “Nutrition Center.”

- Automatic pulp-ejector, which works amazingly! The pulp itself comes out super dry, telling you that you’re getting the maximum amount of product from whatever you’re juicing.

Wow, just wow! If you’re not thoroughly impressed with those features and specs, then nothing is going to impress you. The price point for the Omega J8006 Nutrition Center seems to range from $250-$300. While that might seem a bit pricey, remember that this is touted as a “high-end” juicer. In reality, if you look at the multi-functional use of this machine, that can easily be used to defend this price tag. Honestly, you really are getting a lot of bang for your buck here.
So what about the downside?
I almost feel bad talking negative about this juicer, but, to be fair, we do need to look at some of the issues with it. Truth be told, there aren’t many.
So what are some of the not-so-good qualities?
- The horizontal design does take up more counter space than the vertically designed juicers.
- The juice container only holds about 3.5 cups, so if you’re looking to make large batches of juice, you’re going to have to stop and pour them into a bigger container-just a bit more time-consuming.
- A bit pricey, but it is “high-end.”
- Fruits and veggies need to be chopped up somewhat small before being juiced because of the small feed chute
The verdict
Overall, the Omega J8006 Nutrition Center is an impressive machine. The pros clearly outweigh the cons in this situation. I really think this is because Omega truly does listen to its customers and takes their suggestions and needs into consideration. One of the best things about this juicer is that it’s simple enough to operate for a beginner, but it can also be an upgrade for someone looking to step up their juicing journey. If you’re willing to drop the $250-$300, I think this will be an excellent long-term investment. Especially considering you can experiment with making your own nut butters, milks, pastas, and even baby foods.
